This website exists to give people a voice. To give all of us graduates who found out the hard way that TRACS accreditation didn't accomplish what we were told it would. This website will outline real life stories of the various struggles former students have had with credit transfers, graduate admissions, various certifications, and jobs forfeited due to accreditation.
While this website focuses on Bob Jones University I don't wish to limit it soely to the university. Anyone who holds a nationally accredited degree, particularly from TRACS, is welcome to comment or share your story. Really this website just comes down to issues people have faced with or without accreditation. So please if you feel compelled share your story.
This website is also not limited to negative stories. There are many graduates who have found great success in transferring credits or getting into grad schools. Fortunately not all of the stories end badly and this is positive news. So please share your story.
Finally I felt compelled to start this website so that parents and Christian school administrators know the full reality of what National vs Regional accreditation is and exactly what TRACS does and does not do for the student. If you've just come here for information that is great. I hope you will find the links and stories helpful. I will document and link out as much as I can. I hope this website will become a source of information as well as a light on a glossed over issue.
So welcome to the webiste. Please come back.
